Sydney Sweeneyhas been cast in a video game movie adaptation created by the director ofWickedand the writers forDeadpool & Wolverine. Now,Varietyreports thatSweeney will be starring in an adaptation of Hazelight Studios' 2025 co-op action adventure gameSplit Fiction. Jon M. Chu, director of bothWickedmovies, will be directing, whileDeadpool & Wolverinewriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are also attached. Story Kitchen’s Mike Goldberg and Dmitri M. Johnson will executive produce, alongside Chu for his company, Electric Somewhere. Sweeney will also serve as an executive producer on the movie, although it remains unknown which of the two lead characters she’ll be playing, Zoe or Mio.
