What Ted Lasso Season 4’s Filming Update Means

Ted Lasso Season 4 Will Begin In Kansas City

Narrative-wise, it makes sense thatTed Lassoseason 4’s return is in Kansas City, asthe emotional season 3 ending saw the titular character returning home to be with his son. The new season’s plot will see him return to England to coach the new AFC Richmond women’s team, so these photos are likely from a recruitment lunch.

The showwill likely begin with Rebecca, Keeley, and Higgins traveling to Kansas City to recruit Ted Lassofor this new position, giving him an early conflict. With all the time he spent away from home, Ted was beginning to miss Kansas, but the most essential part of his return journey was to be present in Henry’s life.

Actor Grant Feely is stepping into the role of Henry Lasso, and it seems likely that the new season will feature Ted bringing his son back to Richmond with him. This will allow him the best of both worlds: doing what he’s passionate about for work and playing a direct role in his son’s formative years.

Our Take On Ted Lasso Season 4’s Filming Update

Ted Lasso Season 4’s Premiere Has To Justify The Continuation

While bringing backTed Lassocertainly sounds fun on paper, it’s worth noting that season 3 ended with proper resolution. The first three seasons were written as a trilogy, and the season 3 finale was intended to be its conclusion. There has to be a justifiable, character-driven reason to bring the story back to life.

Sure, Ted could bring Henry back to London with him, but there’s a reason that didn’t happen the first time around. Henry’s mother will still want to play a role in parenting their child. There are plenty of workarounds for these scenarios. My point is just to illustrate thatTed Lassocan’t cut corners with a contrived plot.
