While nothing is quite likeThe Lincoln Lawyer, fans of the show need to watch Netflix’s popular new legal series. Netflix has put out many great original TV shows, butThe Lincoln Lawyerhas to be one of the absolute best. Between great actors and compelling stories, fans are eager for more episodes.
The good news is thatThe Lincoln Lawyerseason 4has finished filming and is projected for a mid-October to mid-November release, based on our best estimates. However, the not-so-good news is that that’s still at least two months away. Fans will still need to fill the time until then.
Luckily, I have a new recommendation for other fans who are eager to watch more shows along the same lines asThe Lincoln Lawyer. While manygreat legal dramasexist, one of the most appealing is the new Netflix show Beyond the Bar.
Beyond The Bar Is The Perfect K-Drama For The Lincoln Lawyer Fans
The K-drama Beyond the Bar debuted on June 13, 2025, and it’s currently number 10 in the US Top 10 on Netflix, as well as the Top 10 in six other countries. The show focuses onKang Hyo-min, an up-and-coming and charmingly awkward lawyer with a strong sense of justice who joins a high-profile law firm focused on representing clients.
Unfortunately, Hyo-min has to prove herself because she works for a cold and demanding boss. This is one of the first legal shows besidesThe Lincoln LawyerandLaw and the Citythat has immediately hooked me. The characters and cases are captivating, and there are plenty of surprises.
I’m not too familiar with the actors in the project, but Jung Chae-yeon, who plays Kang Hyo-min, deserves a shoutout for her impressive performance in theNetflix original K-drama. The only part ofBeyond the Barthat I haven’t absolutely loved so far is the romantic subtext. However, it is secondary to the legal drama part of the story.
The First Five Episodes Of Beyond The Bar Are Already Available To Watch
Oftentimes, it takes viewers a few episodes to really get into a new show and figure out if they like it. That makes weekly releases extremely difficult to get into for some. Luckily, five of the twelve episodes in season 1 have already come out on Netflix. This gives viewers plenty of story to figure out how they feel.
For those who might not like reading captions, dubbed audio is available in English, Portuguese (Brazil), Hindi, Spanish (Latin America), and Japanese.
After that,new episodes of the show debut on Netflix every Saturday and Sunday. The finale forBeyond the Barseason 1 will come out on Sunday, September 7. It’s unclear whether Netflix will pick the show up for season 2, but K-dramas often only include one season. As such, it’s possible that the episode will be the last.
