But this particular artist went the extra mile to craft her entire design from scratch, including each piece of leather in Ciri’s attire. Considering how material-heavy her outfit is, from her corset to her boots, this is a pretty impressive feat.

For anyone inexperienced with leather making, it’s a difficult craft to master. If the artisan makes a mistake, it can ruin the entire piece, causing them to start the entire item over again. Ciri’s design inThe Witcher 3uses a variety of leather, which makes this fan-made cosplay all the more impressive. The artist recreated each aspect perfectly, with attention to every detail. The costume even features various rips and tears that can be seen on Ciri’s in-game model, which fans adore.
The cosplay is courtesy of Reddit user mina-bloody, who was willing to share a few of her techniques in the comments. The outfit uses various types of leathers to create the finished result, while the corsage is made purely from goat leather. Some of the more detailed items of the design required a few extra materials, such as metals and gems, but the leather is entirely real. Despite being gifted with needles, the artist admitted that even she needed to brush up on tutorials to get each aspect right. Even more incredible is that there are some parts of the design that she had to stitch by hand, without a sewing machine.
