Titus Welliver is continuing an exciting streak of promising TV shows with his upcoming role inThe Westies, which makes the likelihood of the actor joiningLost’s spiritual successor series even greater. While he previously starred inDeadwood,Welliver’s role as the Man in Black inLostremains one of his best performances of all-time, setting the stage for future TV dominance with shows likeBoschandSons of Anarchy.

AfterBosch: Legacyendedearlier this year, concluding his 11-year tenure leading the franchise, it was announced that Titus Welliver’s next leading role would be inMGM+’s period crime seriesThe Westies. Welliver stars as Glenn Keenan, an NYPD officer who grew up with Westies gang members. The Westiesalso marks Welliver’s very first MGM+ project, bringing him closer to a hit series heavily associated withLost.

Titus Welliver Leading MGM+’s The Westies Makes A Jump To Their Horror Hit From More Likely

Like many other streaming services, MGM+ often casts certain actors across multiple projects. For instance,From’s Robert Joy also stars inThe Institute,Earth Abides’Jessica Frances Dukes is starring inThe Westies, andBelgravia: The Next Chapter’s Lauren McQueen will star inRobin Hood.

With Titus Welliver preparing to leadThe Westies, it wouldn’t be out of left field for MGM+ to recruit him to appear in one of their other hit TV shows. Among MGM+’s most popular series is the horror mystery showFrom, which has some on-screen and behind-the-scenes links to Welliver’s hit sci-fiLost.

Fromis executive produced by Jack Bender and Jeff Pinker, who also respectively served as a director and writer onLost. Additionally,From’s castis led by Harold Perrineau, who starred inLostas Michael Dawson. Furthermore,From’s premise and tone have often been compared toLost, with both being mystery box TV shows about people who become trapped in a location with peculiar horrors.

Considering how big of a name Titus Welliver is and how memorable his brief stint as theMan in Black was inLostseasons 5 and 6, it would be a big missed opportunity for MGM+ to not attempt to recruit him forFrom. Welliver hasn’t tackled much horror in recent years, soFromwould be an excellent opportunity to explore that genre while reuniting with formerLostcolleagues.

Titus Welliver Joining From Would Finally Fulfill A LOST Actor Reunion

If Titus Welliver were to join the cast ofFromseason 4or later on, then the hit series would finally have its long-awaitedLostactor reunion. The only majorLostactor to appear onFromhas been its star Harold Perrineau, but the behind-the-scenes overlap makes the horror show ripe for moreLostactors to appear.

While Harold Perrineau and Titus Welliver never shared any scenes onLost, the two still had massively important arcs on the show. Additionally, in 2022, Welliver noted toAARPthat he was watchingFrom, starring his “friend Harold Perrineau,” and described it as scary but “really well directed, acted, and written.” Given his new role in MGM+‘sThe Westiesand enduring friendships with Perrineau and Jack Bender, the time feels right for theirLostreunion to happen onFrom.
