The Future Is Unclear
Timberlake is very honest throughout his Instagram stories about what this experience has been like, emphasizing his love for performing and touring while also admitting that it’s not easy to do with a Lyme diagnosis. On the second slide of his Instagram stories,Timberlake even confesses that “I don’t know what my future is onstage.”
This makes it seem likely that Timberlake is considering a longer-term retirement from the stage, or at least tours of this scale, though nothing is set in stone yet. Timberlake has pushed through to finish The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, butit clearly wasn’t an easy feat, and isn’t something that could, or should, be repeated.

Given how many performances Timberlake has completed on The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, it’s clear that he deserves a break, especially now with the knowledge that he was actively fighting Lyme disease at the same time. It’s hard enough to do so without having to get on a stage in front of massive audiences to perform for them.
