What This Means For Tron: Ares

Tron: Aresseemingly speaks to present-day issuesin a way the otherTronfilms did not. In the trailer’s opening, Julian actually mentions that there is “so much talk of AI in big tech today.” As a reaction, theAresplot will actually address the idea of what would happen if advanced AI interacted with humans.

Other characters, such as Anderson’s,question how much control Julian actually has over Ares. Meanwhile, shots show the program splitting police cars in half and racing through the streets.

The trailer is also heavy on the musical score.Tron: Legacyiconically had an electronic-heavy score from the group Daft Punk. This time, the music is from Nine-Inch Nails.Their tunes feature heavily in theArestrailer, showing how the film will take after its predecessor.
