The woman who is slightly seen and heard talking to Ellie in the Ransom Canyon season 1 finale is played by actress Erica Dasher. While the audience only sees the back of her head, the casting of Dasher for such a big role in the finale has a deeper connection to the showrunner’s past projects.

In an interview withTV Line, Blair talks about how the Dasher cameo came about for theRansom Canyonfinale. “I don’t know that she’ll actually play the wife [in Season 2],” Blair explained. “That’s why we only showed her from behind.
