Dort elaborates that the position is vacant now becauseVincent Thorpe pulled both Xavier and his endowment from the school. According to Dort, the decision to have Xavier leave Nevermore was made after he was falsely accused of murder, resulting in Xavier being briefly jailed inWednesdayseason 1 beforeTyler/The Hyde was revealed as the monster.

Emphasizing how his appearance would be impossible in season 2,Wednesdayreveals thatXavier now attends the Reichenback Academy in Switzerland. While little to nothing is known about this boarding school, Gomez Addams explains that he once spent a summer studying abroad there, revealing it has a long-lasting legacy in Outcast education.
That looks to be the official end of Xavier’s role inWednesday’s story, as he’ll be going to school in Europe while Wednesday and her Nevermore classmates spend the next three years in Vermont.
