The Riftbreakeris a described strategy/base-building/survival/hack and slash type of game reminiscent ofHELLDIVERS. Players will take on the persona of Captain Ashley S. Novak, who is tasked with the duty of building a base on the distant planet of Galatea 37. This base will serve as a way for Novak to return to Earth and for further colonization of the galaxy. Captain Novak commands a mech that will assist her in all of the duties that are required, including building, gathering, and even combat.

The game has interesting transitions from incredibly fast and furious combat to meticulous base-building and resource-gathering phases. The gameplay is shown from the top-down perspective, along with exploring a foreign world, which is where players will definitely see thedirect comparison to the popularHELLDIVERS. However, the base-building and gathering are where the game splits off.

Evenwhen games leave Game Pass, players can purchase them at a discounted rate.

The Riftbreakerwill be released Fall 2021 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
