The nature of their separation, in addition to them trying to hide their faces, instantlysparked rumors that they weren’t supposed to be seen together.
Much of this is to do with the hilarious commentary from Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin, who originally coos in adoration of the couple, saying “Look at these two!” When they turn away, however, Martin says “What?Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.”

As it turns out, they allegedly may be coworkers having an affair, hence their apprehension upon being shown on Coldplay’s jumbotron.
